            My name is Shaniel Doñe, I am 19 year old and I am Dominican, I grow up with my grandmother because my father and mother came to the Unites State looking for better conditions.  I grow up almost by myself because my grandmother doesn’t know how to white or read so I put myself into school and any place I need it, this is the reason why I am independent and for one side I like it but I dint get the chance to be a children.  Now I have almost five year in the Unites States trying to learn English and others stuff as fast as possible to be in the same level of the people who already life here.  There are many things that I like but what I like the most is to be helpful in any way I can, I like to dance almost any type of music, I like to work hard and I like to eat almost anything and more if it Dominican food like mangu with onions and salami or rise with meat.

            I don’t fallow any type of religion; I don’t like people that tell me what to believe or how I need to live my life.  I like to work with other because the job gets done faster but I also like to have a time where I work by myself in my time and speed.  I don’t like to be force to do anything and when I do a get really angry.  I am peaceful with any person but only if they respect me as I respect them.  My plans for the future is to be able to support my family “father, mother, sister, brothers” because my father is not felling well and every day he gets worst for medical and physical reasons, this mean soon the family will be on my hands and I need to step up not only for me but also for them.
